Auburn Brothers Excelling in Leadership
Chapter & Alumni News
The Fall semester started well for the Brothers of Beta Theta. They had 53 pledge and 11 initiated into the Legion of Honor. Bowman Hill, son of Dr. Scott Hill, and Harrison Rudd of Dothan were selected. They were fortunate to receive excellent mentoring by Advisor John Burgess and sophomore and last-year Freshman Forum member Sam Gray. The pledge class is led by Pledge Trainer Max Hopkins, Beta Theta 3000. They also welcomed many alumni back during Homecoming weekend in the fall.
Brothers of Beta theta spent their summer learning and growing as individuals, Junior Jack Fruin of Birmingham was a summer intern with Dynasty Financial Partners in New York City, a registered investment advisor providing objective fiduciary services to wealth management by avoiding in-house investment bias. Jack was the only Auburn student selected for this 10-week program. Fruin is double majoring in biomedical sciences and finance and serves as a college of science and mathematics ambassador.
