General Fraternity Staff Changes
Updates from Lexington
Veteran staff member Nathaniel Clarkson (James Madison) departed the General Fraternity staff team in December, 2016 after over 10 years of dedicated service to the Legion of Honor. Nathaniel’s tenure with the Fraternity began in the summer of 2006 when he served as an intern alongside current Director of Risk Reduction Fred Dobry (Indiana State). During Nathaniel’s time on staff he served as a Leadership Consultant for two years consulting our chapters in Georgia, Florida, Alabama, and Mississippi. Following his time as Leadership Consultant he transitioned into his role as Director of Communications. As Director of Communications Nathaniel oversaw key milestones in the Fraternity including a complete redesign of The Delta, creation of an official style guide, and elevating the importance and quality of Sigma Nu’s digital presence that culminated in The Delta receiving the Fred F. Yoder Award for Overall Excellence from the Fraternity Communications Association in 2013. We wish him the best in his future endeavors as he pursues his master's degree at Northwestern University. Below are some of the messages fellow brothers left for Nathaniel when we announced his departure on Facebook.
