Spears Family Epsilon Epsilon Center for Excellence
Dozens of chapters make a pilgrimage to the place of our founding each year. For many chapters, this is an important element of their candidate education program. Unfortunately, the current facilities on our Headquarters campus are subpar and inadequate to provide proper housing and leadership development space for groups making the trip to Lexington. This, coupled with a vision of a facility capable of hosting a summer leadership development program, led to the initial challenge pledge made by Dr. William Spears (Epsilon Epsilon - Oklahoma State) and met by alumni of his chapter.
The current building plan incorporates several meeting and breakout rooms for leadership development programs and space for up to 84 overnight visitors. It will double the educational space at Sigma Nu Fraternity Headquarters.
There will be several naming opportunities for alumni, parents, and friends that are interested in helping make the Center of Excellence a reality.
Your gift, along with the gifts of Dr. Spears and Epsilon Epsilon alumni, will allow:
- Capacity to host a variety of leadership programs including summer programs currently under development.
- The opportunity to bring collegiate brothers to Sigma Nu Fraternity Headquarters and learn more about the history, traditions, and principles of our Fraternity.
- Housing one or more visiting chapter groups visiting Lexington to incorporate the lessons of our Founders and our founding place into the developmental program.
Please show your own Commitment to Excellence by donating now. If you are interested in naming opportunities, please see what is available here.
