Duane H. Dreger

Duane is a Partner, and former Managing Partner, of Cesari and McKenna, LLP, an intellectual property boutique law firm located in Boston, Massachusetts. He is a registered patent attorney who prosecutes and litigates patents and trademarks worldwide.
Duane graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics, with a History minor, and then earned a Juris Doctorate from The Ohio State University in 2002. At MIT, Duane was recognized with both the William L. Stewart, Jr. Award (for service to student life) and the Frederick Gardner Fassett, Jr. Award (for service to the fraternity/sorority community).
He was initiated in 1995 by the Epsilon Theta Chapter and is a 1999 Alpha Affiliate. He served his chapter as Sentinel and Marshal and the IFC as Vice President and President. Duane was also a varsity oarsman for the MIT Heavyweight Crew team. After graduation, he served as a Director and as the Clerk of the Epsilon Theta House Corporation board for several years. He served as a Division Commander and then Grand Sentinel before service as a two-term Vice Regent from 2010-2014. He was recognized as Division Commander of the Year in 2008 and as Alumnus of the Biennium for 2008-2010. Since Duane’s time on the High Council, he has served on Sigma Nu’s Jurisprudence Committee and is currently the Chairman of the committee.
Duane resides in Salem, Massachusetts. He is a longtime season ticket holder of the Boston Bruins and enjoys travel, reading, and collecting rare books.
