The 2025 Sigma Nu Institute will be held virtually with two session options offered to accommodate time zones and participant availability. Officers are invited to attend the program that best fits their schedule, irrespective of other attendees from their chapter. 

  • Saturday, January 25: 1:00-5:00 p.m. Pacific (4:00-8:00 p.m. Eastern)
  • Saturday, February 1: 1:00-5:00 p.m. Eastern

The Sigma Nu Institute is designed to assist with the officer transition process and learning curve that accompanies taking on new positions of chapter leadership. Both newly elected and mid-term officers will benefit from the program through increased exposure to, and education on, the knowledge and skills for their role. Attendees will also learn about key Fraternity programs, policies, and procedures.

The 2025 program will offer tracks to 11 officer roles and complement the College of Chapters program experienced by Commanders. The 2025 program will focus on the following officers:

All Chapters and colonies are expected to have multiple officers attend a program of their choice. Chapter participation in the Institute program by multiple officers is an Acceptable criterion in the Brother Development section of the Pursuit of Excellence Program.

Alumni and Other Volunteers

An Alumni Institute will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd for Chapter Advisors, Alumni Advisory Board members, and Division Commanders. Fraternity volunteers are also invited to participate in the student Institute program alongside the student and officer position they advise.
