Lexington, Va. – Sigma Nu Fraternity, Inc. is aware that five University of Southern California students were arrested on October 8, 2014, in Alhambra, Calif., related to allegations of theft of plants and garden statues. The five students arrested are candidates for membership in the Epsilon Omicron Chapter of Sigma Nu Fraternity at the University of Southern California.
“Sigma Nu Fraternity was founded on the honor principle and is dedicated to our mission of developing ethical leaders for society. We will not tolerate unlawful conduct. We have begun an investigation of this matter and will take appropriate action once all facts are known,” said Brad Beacham, executive director of Sigma Nu Fraternity, Inc.
Headquartered in Lexington, Va., Sigma Nu Fraternity was founded in 1869 at Virginia Military Institute.
