Sigma Nu Fraternity Announces Return to University of North TexasLexington, Va. – Sigma Nu Fraternity, Inc.Sigma Nu Fraternity, Inc. is pleased to announce the recolonization of its Zeta Omicron Chapter at theUniversity of North Texas for the fall 2012 semester. The Fraternity looks forward to working withadministrators, alumni and students to reestablish a positive presence on campus for years to come.
Sigma Nu is committed to its founding principles of Love, Honor and Truth, and has stood in firmopposition to hazing since its founding in 1869 at the Virginia Military Institute.
Originally founded in 1952, the Zeta Omicron Chapter was an active member of the UNT Greekcommunity until closing in 2010. Now, Sigma Nu is returning to campus to reestablish the chapter andpursue its vision of Excelling with Honor.
As a part of this process, Sigma Nu will be offering a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to a select group ofexceptional men to rebuild Sigma Nu at North Texas. Collectively, these men will define what fraternitymeans for them and create the positive traditions that will last for years to come.
The Fraternity is looking for outstanding men who want to get involved on campus, gain valuableleadership skills, develop themselves personally and professionally, create meaningful and lifelongrelationships and get the most out of their collegiate experience.
